On-line Application

 Steps for Applying On-line

 
 
 

Before filling out the application, please read the student guide about the programs offered by the higher education institutions in the UAE and study abroad scholarships awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) in the UAE.

 

NAPO has developed a student portal that stores information required for the on-line application to the institutions, study abroad, the CEPA exams, approvals, etc.

 

Please go to the NAPO student portal main page, which can be found on the MOHESR website for the information on how to create a page and apply on-line.

 
 
 
 If you are a new user,
 
• In order to create a page, please click on the ‘Register’ button on the student portal main page and provide personal and contact details. Please type your name exactly as it is written in your passport. Your name should be in English.
 
 
 
 
 

 

 NAPO offers an SMS service to keep applicants updated on a regular basis; that is why a correct mobile number is crucial.
• You will receive a username and password by e-mail and SMS to your mobile number. At this stage, your application will not be considered complete yet.  However, it is the first step of the application process.
If you do not receive your username and password, please call NAPO at 02 642 8400.
• Use your username and password to log in to the NAPO student portal. 
 If you are a registered user,
• Use your username and password to log in to the NAPO student portal.
• Make sure to fill in the five required fields with accurate information:
 1.general information
 2.address
 3.school details (Please make sure that you have typed in the correct name of your school. Some schools have names similar to those of the adult education centers.)
 4.health status
 5.study preferences.

 

 

 • Please preview your application to ensure all information is correct. Please go back to make changes, if required, or submit your application. 

• After you submit the application, you will get an application number starting with 2014.  Also, your application number will be sent to you by SMS. It is important to make a note of the application number as you will need it to communicate with NAPO.

If you do not receive an SMS message with the application number, you can find it on your page on the student portal or call NAPO at 02 642 8400 or the person who is in charge of the corresponding education zone. Please visit the Contact Us page on the student portal for a comprehensive list of e-mail addresses and phone numbers of the NAPO staff by education zone.

 
 
 Please continue the application process. So far your application is not considered complete.
• Make sure to attach the required valid official documents.


There are several ways to submit the documents. You can:

 scan and upload the documents from your page on the student portal provided you have an on-line application and meet the file upload requirements specified on the website, e.g., save the file with the required extension, do not exceed the file size, etc. (The images must be clear);

 e-mail the documents directly to the NAPO staff member who is in charge of the corresponding education zone;

 e-mail them at napo@mohesr.gov.ae;

 send them (except for your photograph) to NAPO by fax at 02 642 7172;

 send them to NAPO by mail at the following address: P.O. Box 45372, Abu Dhabi, UAE; or,

 hand them over to NAPO.

When you submit your documents by e-mail, mail or fax, please do not forget to mention your name and application number.

After you fill in the required fields and submit all documents, NAPO will verify your application. If it is incomplete, you will get an SMS and a message on your page on the student portal with a request for the missing documents that you need to provide as soon as possible.

Now your application is complete!

Please note:

• Make sure to submit your application before the deadline. Please check the NAPO key dates for the deadlines on the NAPO website or the student portal.

• Make sure to provide the correct details and update them immediately, if they change at any point.

• You are allowed to make amendments to your study preferences. The amendments will be reflected under the ‘Report’ on your page on the student portal.

 

• Please check your page on the student portal regularly for the application updates.
• If you have any documents missing, please make sure to submit them as soon as possible.
• If you forget your username and password, there is no need to register again. Please click on the ‘Forgot your password?’ link on the student portal main page and follow the instructions.
Do not hesitate to call NAPO at 02 642 8400 or send an e-mail at napo@mohesr.gov.ae if you run into problems or have any questions. In order to speed up the process, you can call or send an e-mail directly to the NAPO staff member who is in charge of the corresponding education zone.
